Fabulous restored warehouse blocks from Franklin & Marshall. Walls thick, ceilings high, immaculate, quiet, and comfortable. Free taxi service a plus, so was the included breakfast. In future we will always stay there when visiting relatives.

Thank you again for a wonderful stay! Our accomodations were world-class. The decor was also fantastic and we appreciated the gratis cab service to and from a family wedding.

We recently stayed at the LAH in the gorgeous Presidential Suite. The weather was pretty awful, yet we could not have had a more lovely weekend. Our friends stayed there too and we could hardly pry them out of their room. (We all loved the tubs!). Dinner at the hotel was delicious. The bar is a great place to meet up with friends. The other nearby restaurants (Iron Hill Brewery, Fenz and Checkers) are great and the Franklin & Marshall College campus is just a couple of blocks away. We saw the F&M women's swim team beat Gettysburg for an undefeated season! Go Dips!

We stayed Friday and Saturday night (our son's wedding was at Mulberry Arts Studio) so we did not explore other city offerings. The complimentary cab service was so nice! We were so glad to see that the tobacco warehouse was refurbished to an excellent hotel -- not the average hotel chain. We will be sure to stay here again!

Cons: can't think of one

the rooms are not anything like regular hotel rooms. Each appears to be unique and very comfortable. You won't be sorry you stayed in this place. Even though we were in the smallest room in the hotel it was very comfortable. If your stay was for a longer period you'd want to book a larger space.

We were so happy we discovered this fabulous, unique, and very hilp hotel in the heart of Lancaster. The amenities and service were exceptional and were above and beyond what most hotels offer. We stayed for two nights, and from the moment we stepped in the door, until the moment we left, we lacked for nothing. Wonderful hotel!!

Cons: Bed was a bit uncomfortable but not terrible.

We just spent 3 nights at the hotel and had a wondeful time. The rooms were spotless and even the hallways and lobby were. The 2 room suite gave us a place to sit and talk and eat our meals while not having to use the bedroom for that. We were even able to see fireworks from 5 different locations outside our window! Thank you!!

Cons: a bit difficult to find --

We spent last weekend at the Lancaster Arts Hotel-- as it was recommended to us by friends. The hotel exceeded my expectations from the moment we walked into the lobby. The rooms were extremely spacious-- with a sitting area, the beds amazingly comfortable-- and the bathroom shower was one I wish I had at home. I would recommend this hotel to others, and will definately stay there again.

Now let''s see... Arts Hotel? Sounds like a gimmick. But not in this case. We can't recommend your hotel enough, starting with the lobby and all the interesting artwork. The room was so nicely decorated and comfortable. The location is perect; quiet yet near downtown. Don't believe that old addage "Don't eat at a hotel." The dining and service was excellent. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the courtyard. You truly deserve the sobriquet "Arts Hotel".

This is a hotel rich in art, history and architecture. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in making a visit here one to remember. So far I have enjoyed two separate visits taking advantage of two unique and comprehensive packages. The eclectic nature of the decor, the accommodations and the atmosphere must be expereinced to understand what an outstanding hotel this is. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when in the Lancaster area. It is a truly luxurious and restful environment. I eagerly look forward to staying here again in the future.

Our experience at the Lancaster Arts Hotel was nothing short of spectacular. Far beyond expectations. Exceptional service and ammenities (the fluffy robes! the courtesy cab! also known as the miraculous life-saver cab) . The room was beautiful, comfortable, and reflected the hotel''s attention to detail. At every turn was a fantastic surprise! The whole place was such an unexpected gem. Simply put, it was oh so cool. Oh, and the rose on the nightstand did not wilt even a little for days without being put in water. This too I found to be very cool. Many thanks for a wonderful and unique experience!

We had one over night stay here on our way to Cape May. My husband's comment about the hotel: "I want to live here!" The King room we had was one of the most spacious we had ever seen, with spectacular furnishings, art and lighting. Free garage parking is available. Front desk attendants were friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel's Jeffries restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our "farm to table" dinner prepared by a young chef who greeted us at our table. The hotel is conveniently located to shops and art galleries on Queen and Princes Streets. We'll definitely return to the hotel in the future.

After seeing review of this hotel and reading through the website I was very excited about my stay. Not only were my expectations met but I was pleasantly suprised with the turn down service and pleasant nature of the staff which pushed the experience above and beyond. The included breakfast was also a nice touch and far better then may other hotels Complimentary Continental Breakfasts.

We stayed at the Lancaster Arts Hotel for one night on a Saturday. From the time we checked in until the time we checked out, every attention to detail and every need we expressed was handled in a professional, corteous manner(and with a smile). The front desk staff was friendly and went out of their way to see to our every need as met. The rooms were SPECTACULAR; from the roses and chocolates on our pillows, to the bis fluufy robes provided for after our soak in the hottub. The restaurant that was reccomended to us by the front desk staff was amazing; if you get the chance, check out Checker's Bistro(Great food, very romantic, and only a block from the hotel). We will definitely treat ourselves and stay again! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We highly recommend the Arts Hotel. It is a very unique hotel full of old character and impressive art. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The hotel is very clean, quiet, and the beds are beyond comfortable! It was such a relaxing atmosphere. We participated in the First Friday activities, ate at one of the many wonderful local restaurants, and even watched a Barnstormers game at Clipper Stadium. There is so much to do in Lancaster. We are looking forward to staying at the Arts Hotel again in the near future. It was an awesome experience!

Cons: Um, none that I can think of.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night. Absolutely great: professional and high standard staff by all means. Very well attended at the front desk. They provide you a complete information about the area: places to visit, transportation to the Amish villages, etc... The hotel is wonderful and clean. Our room was massive, extremely well decorated and brand new. The bathroom was lovely, hot tub, huge shower. Even the light fittings in the room is great.

What a fabulous find in Lancaster! We were very surprised that such a unique, hip place existed. The decor is great, and the historic building that the hotel is in is cool all in itself. We were there for a romantic getaway, and this place fit the bill. The restaurant had great food, and the free breakfast in the morning was nice too. There is alot to do in that immediate area, so we plan on a return trip in the Spring. Would definetly recommend this hotel if you want something different when staying in Lancaster.

Pros: Beautiful hotel

Cons: No cons, I loved this hotel

There's much more to Lancaster than expected. Especially if you have the opportunity to stay at the Lancaster Arts Hotel. If you desire something hip, smart, fun, and a bit of luxury- this is the place to stay. It's also a refreshing change from a typical chain hotel experience. What makes it so unique is that the hotel is like an art gallery. Original works of art by local area artists are on display throughout the hotel. Our accommodations were wonderful, too. The bed we slept in was so comfortable that we had to inquire about it. Breakfast was also included in our room rate. We had planned on going out to breakfast but changed our plans once we saw the really nice continental breakfast provided by the hotel.

Pros: Great Hotel

Cons: None

My husband and two children recently stayed at the Lancaster Arts hotel and had a wonderful stay. Our suite was beautiful and the perfect size for the four of us.The decor was great as was the jacuzzi tub! We visited Lancaster county to visit both the Strasburg rail road and Hershey Park. The Lancaster Arts is in the ideal location to visit both and stay at a stylish, trendy hotel. After doing extensive research on the web, this hotel was the only in the area that was new, modern and trendy. It lived up to its web reputation. The staff at the hotel is very accomodating and friendly. One evening when I was "walking" in the lobby with my sleeping daughter, the manager of the hotel gave me a bottle of wine and two glasses to take up to our room! A pleasant surprise for two parents spending the evening in their room with two sleeping children. The hotel is in a great location with restaurants nearby. We were also able to catch a Barnstormers game while we were in town - highly recommended

"As someone who travels for business all over the world, I have to say the the Lancaster Arts Hotel was one of the most relaxing and impressive places I have ever stayed. The loft concept for the rooms was spectacular (I had never seen this before). In addition, the service was second to none.
