The Blanche Nevin Room is a flexible, 750-square-foot space filled with original art from LOCAL LANCASTER ARTISTS and features exposed brick walls preserved from the authentic 1800s tobacco warehouse. Fun Fact: We proudly named our event space after Blanche Nevin, the first recognized woman sculptress in the United States. She moved to Lancaster, PA, with her family when her father, John Williamson Nevin, became the president of Franklin & Marshall College in 1855. Her most famous piece is a Revolutionary War General PETER MUHLENBERG sculpture which you can see at the U.S. Capitol’s NATIONAL STATUARY HALL COLLECTION.

Unlike other birthday parties or special event venues, when you host in the Blanche Nevin Room, you can bring your own food! This flexibility means you can have food catered by a caterer or local restaurant of your choice.

If you’d like us to help with your food options, we can arrange catering for your event through John J. Jeffries, located onsite at Lancaster Arts Hotel. Have a casual event for which you’d prefer snacks instead of a full meal spread? We can provide snack and beverage stations instead for an additional fee.

Please feel free to bring soft drinks, juice pouches, or water for your get-together, but remember you may not get your own alcohol due to liquor licensing requirements. You or your guests can purchase alcoholic beverages at our in-house bar when they open at 4 pm if you desire alcohol at your event.
