Beautiful hotel with an artsy vibe to it. Love the idea that the hotel sits in an original tobacco storage building. What’s different and creative about the Lancaster Hotel is they placed a sketch pad in the room to encourage you to sketch something memorable, which then get displayed inside books and onto the elevator walls. What a creative and brilliant idea for the artist at heart!!!! It’s another way of making the guest a part of the hotel’s history.

Rooms We stayed in one of the suites. The room was beautifully decorated with an artist in mind. I would have given the room 5-stars, but the floors were on a slight slant. Overall, very cozy and comfortable. Loved the idea of the exposed brick on the wall, the original French doors to the bathroom and my favorite was the jacuzzi tub – ahhh it was like being in Heaven.
Nearby activities The location was just perfect! Close to restaurants, shopping, the mall, and museum. We walked into town and the longest distance by foot,I would say, was about 15/20 minutes. Quaint little college town filled with boutiques and plenty of places to eat and shop. Definitely will be going back.
WalkabilityEverything was within close proximity of the Lancaster Hotel. Only used the car once. We walked to and from the main events.
Food & drinks Food, absolutely delicious! Drinks, on point!
Noteworthy details The town of Lancaster has maintained its original foot print in history. The Victorian homes are just beautiful. The Buildings still carry that industrial vibe with its original architecture, as if set in time, but yet there’s a modern edge as well. Timeless beauty
