What a beautiful hotel! We loved that it didn’t feel like the average hotel. The room had so much character and charm with the brick walls and wood beams. The lobby was beautifully decorated as well with lots of art all throughout the hotel to admire. The breakfast was so much better than we’ve had at hotels, and the staff at the front desk and in the breakfast room were over the top friendly and helpful. It was an easy walk to the central market area of Lancaster. I highly recommend staying here!

I LOVE this hotel and would love to come back and stay here again!!!! I stayed at the Lancaster Arts Hotel in Lancaster, Pennsylvania for 3 nights from 7/21/26-7/24/26, an official member of Historic Hotels of America, the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s historic hotel program.

The hotel is housed in a beautifully restored tobacco warehouse built in 1881 that operated as a tobacco warehouse until 1945. The building was later used for paper, twine, and electronics storage before being transformed into the hotel, which opened in 2006. Original brick walls, massive timber beams, and old wood floors have been preserved. The large steel fire doors are especially impressive and remain authentic industrial features of the building.

Original artwork is displayed throughout the hotel—including in the guest rooms—and much of it is available for purchase. The hotel also features an art gallery and event space, reflecting Lancaster’s vibrant and thriving arts culture.

They even provided a first-night turndown service with a rose and chocolates waiting on my pillow. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Lancaster area!

Beautiful Arts Hotel with brick and wood structure. Very historic. I enjoyed my stay over the weekend with my parents. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

Great hotel. Great staff, rooms and a delicious breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay. The old warehouse turned into a hotel was a unique experience. The location had a brewery right behind the hotel and a great Italian restaruant a block away. The rooms big wooden beams creaked like we were in a hull of a ship and the entranceway had a very strong deodorizer smell but we truly enjoyed our time there. Lancaster is a great town.
